Leo Quinn, Balfour Beatty Group Chief Executive, has shared his thoughts in The Sunday Telegraph on how the UK Government can and should reform the Apprenticeship Levy.

In the article, Leo explores the importance of providing training opportunities to break down the barriers people face in acquiring the skills that create lifelong employability and build a socially mobile, prosperous, and cohesive Britain.

Leo explains that the UK Government must ensure that the Apprenticeship Levy is fit for purpose, evolving it into a ‘Skills Levy’ – one which will transform the levy rules to make it more responsive to employer needs, maintaining the intent of funding whilst also enabling businesses to attract, train and retain the skills each sector needs to shore up the country’s economy.
