Balfour Beatty has been named as the leading main contractor in the UK construction industry for its following and content across numerous social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. The independent review, undertaken by digital marketing specialists LexisClick, analysed the Top 20 construction contractors’ social media channels.
Balfour Beatty was highly praised for its content, in particular the ‘Meet the Expert’ video series hosted on YouTube which showcases innovative techniques and infrastructure experts across the international business. The company was also ranked as number one for its social reach with a 20% improvement on the second placed contractor.
Recently the @balfourbeatty Twitter account reached a new milestone of 50,000 followers, the largest following of any main construction contractor in the UK.
