Balfour Beatty soared to success at last night’s Team Heathrow Partnership awards ceremony, as it secured two prestigious awards; ‘Partner of the Year’ and ‘Doing the Right Thing’.
Balfour Beatty was praised for delivering value through innovative, smart solutions, its relentless focus on safety and its sustainable approach. The company was also highly commended for its in-depth, collaborative perception research, to understand Heathrow’s views on its performance and apply lessons learnt.
In addition, Balfour Beatty demonstrated unrivalled commitment to supporting projects in the local community, with an emphasis on education, employment and the environment; benefitting the local community and helping to create the engineers of tomorrow.

Balfour Beatty was appointed to the Heathrow Airport Limited Delivery Integrator Framework in 2014 and is responsible for delivering individual projects valued between £500,000 and £70 million. Additionally, the company was awarded a £170 million contract in 2016 to upgrade baggage screening and handling systems at the Airport.
