27 June 2024

UK

Balfour Beatty has today featured in New Civil Engineer and CIOB People discussing the launch of its Mulberry & Allies Network, which aims to further support veterans and leavers of the Armed Forces entering the construction sector.

Neil Dalton, Balfour Beatty's Defence Work Winning Director, is featured in New Civil Engineer discussing the invaluable skills veterans bring to the sector, and how the Group is utilising this untapped pool of talent. In the piece, he says: "The message is clear; supporting veteran employees is not just a corporate responsibility, it’s a strategic advantage that companies can benefit from immensely."

To mark Armed Forces Day on 29 June 2024, Tony Ellender, Balfour Beatty's Learning and Development Manager, is featured in CIOB People discussing the launch of the Mulberry & Allies Network, and what other companies can do to support its veteran employees.
