You will ensure that Site Engineers complete the necessary quality checksheets in a timely and accurate manner and maintain a comprehensive filing system aligned with the Project Quality Handover requirements.
Technical Expertise: As a Section Engineer, you'll identify and raise Technical Queries (RFIs) with possible solutions. Your in-depth knowledge of specifications and your ability to track and close out RFIs will contribute to a smooth project delivery.
Setting Out & Installation: You will provide primary setting out control for your section, ensuring that the optimum locations for installations are identified and executed correctly. You'll also support junior engineers by coaching them in using the project specifications and ensuring adherence to the highest standards.
Mentoring & Team Development: You’ll play an active role in supporting and mentoring junior engineers, encouraging them to develop their skills and take ownership of tasks within their areas of responsibility. This role is about more than just engineering; it’s about nurturing the next generation of engineering talent.
