What you'll be doing

• Operate both CNC and manual equipment to fabricate steelwork.


• Provide general support to all operations in the Fabrication, Bundling & Overhead Line Stores area by moving materials and performing general duties as required.


• Work safely at all times following risk assessments and work instructions and maintain a clean working environment.


• Embrace our Zero Harm approach to safety.


• Produce quality product in line with business quality management system.


• Work effectively and efficiently to meet production demands.


• Contribute to our continuous improvement approach and actively help to reduce waste in our processes.

Who we're looking for

• Willingness to learn and embrace new ideas.


• Ability to work as part of a team and be self-motivated


• Able to use air and electric hand tools and grinders.


• Able to read drawings and understand and complete documentation relating to processes within the workplace.


• Have a good understanding of Health and Safety and maintain and safe and clean working environment.


• Positive and enthusiastic with a 'can do' attitude.

The following qualities/experience are desirable:

• Experience in a Steel Fabrication environment.


• Experience in working in a Factory environment using CNC/Manual machinery


• Experience in the operation of overhead cranes and plant.


• Experience in forklift truck and telehandler operations


• Computer literate to read stock sheets.
