About us
Painter Brothers is one of the UK's leading specialist in structural steel manufacture. We have the capacity to produce in excess of 15,000 tones of steelwork each year. Our 50,000m2 site has a wide range of machinery meaning we can manufacture and store any type of structural steelwork, including galvanised specialist structural steelwork.
As the UK’s largest fabricator of towers for the overhead power transmission network, we are embarking on a period of considerable growth. With the government committed to delivering Net Zero by 2050, the investment in electricity infrastructure over the next 10 years will be higher than any period since the construction of the national grid in the 1960’s. We are also seeing growth in our Rail and Nuclear markets. Painter Brothers are ideally placed as a trusted and expert partner, so why not come and join us for the journey?
At Balfour Beatty we are committed to creating a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture where everyone can be themselves and reach their full potential, not only because this is the right thing to do, but because it makes us a better business. To ensure we deliver on this commitment, we have a UK Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan which sets out the wide range of targeted, proactive, measurable steps we are taking to make this a reality. Balfour Beatty is also a Gold Award holder in the Ministry of Defence 'Employer Recognition Scheme' and actively encourage applications from Armed Forces personnel, veterans and reservists.
