What you'll be doing
- Lead and support the delivery team at site
- Responsible for onsite delivery of all the works within ACA, TCA and MCA
- Responsible for the project performance in relation to Safety, Environment, Productivity and programme adherence and will own the budget for the delivery of the work at site
- Co-ordinate with the Pre-Construction Director
- Take involvement in future activities within a minimum six-month horizon
- Provide expert support into our operating model ‘The Way we Work’
- Use the data and reporting generated through the ‘Way we Work’ to act where required and to improve project performance
- Co-ordinate with the function leads for the delivery of the works at site within the arrangements established by and for the project
- Co-ordinate with the Owner Participant so that the Civils team integrates with the project stakeholders.
Who we're looking for
Qualifications & Experience
- Leadership of either a significant and complex major construction programme or a large infrastructure-related contracting business; experience of heavy civils major projects would be highly desirable
- Knowledge of the operational detail of project execution
- Demonstrable track-record for delivering great project or business outcomes through collaborative work practices
- Track record of effectively leading multi-disciplinary teams with diverse backgrounds
- Exposure to projects that are subject to a high level of regulatory scrutiny, security, and safety

- Ability to provide inspirational leadership, with clarity of direction and purpose
- Ability to build effective and trusting relationships with stakeholders and customers
- Demonstrable drive, self-awareness and resilience coupled with high degree of integrity
- Ability to manage complexity, including how to navigate multi-faceted business operations
- Complex problem solving
- Able to work at pace within a high-profile major projects’ environment
- Highly developed communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills to generate confidence and assurance to the client, project team and other stakeholders.
