What you'll be doing
- Manage and monitor all entry and exit points for vehicles, staff, and visitors.
- Ensure all personnel and visitors sign in and out.
- Distribute flashcards to visitors with the site rules.
- Ensure the site is kept secure throughout the shift.
- Open and lock gates at the start and end of each day.
- Record and direct deliveries to the appropriate site supervisor.
- Ensure all deliveries comply with site rules, turning away vehicles that do not meet requirements.
- Liaise with site staff to plan and manage the day’s delivery schedule.
- Safely direct vehicles and manage traffic flow on site.
- Ensure the safety of public walkers and vehicles in pedestrian-access areas.
- Assist visitors and present a positive, professional image of the company.
- Report any issues or incidents to the site team.
Who we're looking for
- Are confident, assertive, and approachable.
- Have excellent communication skills and can engage with professionals at all levels, visitors, and members of the public.
- Are highly alert and observant, maintaining a focus on security and safety at all times.
- Have strong attention to detail and organisational skills to accurately log activities.
- Are flexible and adaptable, particularly when working in remote locations.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
- A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Willingness to work in a remote project location.
