What you'll be doing

• Develop and deliver engineered solutions, effectively briefing working parties.


• Ensure activities are delivered to program, cost, and quality standards in a safe and sustainable way.


• Accurately monitor and record project progress, maintaining comprehensive records and daily diaries.


• Lead and develop a thriving project environment, promoting safety and collaboration within the team.


• Prepare and review RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) for both in-house and subcontractor activities.


• Manage health and safety protocols, providing improvement solutions where needed.


• Work with Project Management to conduct risk/opportunity reviews, manage the Risk Register, and implement necessary changes.


• Drive continuous improvement through workshops and development of operational milestones.


• Plan resource allocation, requisition materials and equipment, and ensure compliance with project objectives and KPIs.


• Support Project Management and step in as a deputy when required.

Who we're looking for

• HNC/HND/Degree in and Engineering or a related field is preferable, or relevant site experience within the Utilities/Construction Industry.


• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage people effectively, and resolve complex issues.


• Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of budgetary and financial controls.


• Full UK driving license and willingness to work away from home as needed.


• Familiarity with project management methodologies and health and safety regulations.
