What you'll be doing
- Plan, manage and deliver the Project safely and sustainably to programme, cost and quality.
- To have overall accountability for successful project delivery including; planning,
design, delivery, monitoring, commissioning and handover/close out
- Providing management and leadership to create an environment where a multi-
disciplinary project team can thrive and succeed to achieve a common goal
- Ensure effective management of client and stakeholders
- Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm & keep up to date with changes in
legislation
- Carry out Safety & Environmental Tours/promote observation and safety
initiatives
- Develop high performing teams, promote a pipeline of talent and assist with
internal training through supporting, guiding, motivating and empowering the
team. Using the resources available through training, mentoring and
performance management
- Manage subcontractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and
progress, providing direct instruction and support as necessary, such that
contractual arrangements are achieved
- Ensure that expenditure is in line with the budget and that resources are
utilised efficiently to ensure cost control
Who we're looking for
- Formal qualification in project management or equivalent experience
- CSCS and SMSTS or Equivalent
- Able to demonstrate a track record of project delivery
- In depth understanding and practical experience of standard forms of contracts
- Driving Licence
- Previous experience managing M&E projects is desirable but not essential
