Summer Placement
How do you make progress by going back in time?
Get more out of your summer with Balfour Beatty.
Joining us from between eight and twelve weeks over the summer of 2024, you’ll take on real and important work.
You will either be onsite at one of our iconic projects, or in one of our busy commercial offices, depending on the route you choose.
Routes available:
Construction management
Quantity surveying
Business management
Civil engineering
You will spend 8 -12 weeks learning about our business and industry, and contributing to projects that shape and support daily life.
You’ll turn potential into proven expertise.
And you will work with people who will give you the right foundations for your post- graduation career.
As a valued member of the team – as well as bags of priceless, hands-on experience, you’ll receive a competitive salary. You could also take a big step towards a place on our graduate scheme.
Candidates currently studying for a Degree in the UK
Ideally, have a full UK driving licence at the time of joining.
Be eligible to work and live in the UK at the time of joining.
Have a flexible approach to work and location and able to adapt to change (you may be required to travel as part of the programme)
It’s important that the degree you are studying for relates to the placement – if it doesn’t, there may be another scheme more relevant to you.
