- These terms apply to a festive fundraising campaign run by Balfour Beatty Group Limited registered at 5 Churchill Place, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5HU company number 00101073 (“Balfour Beatty”, “we”, “our” or “us”) in relation to charities or organisations with whom Balfour Beatty work on fundraising and employment opportunities namely: Project RECCE, the King’s Trust (formerly the Prince’s Trust) and Groundwork (collectively, ”Corporate Charity Partners”)
- A ‘vote’ will be counted for the corresponding Corporate Charity Partner every time a user submits their selection on the Microsoft Forms link provided by Balfour Beatty. Further details will be available in our announcements across our social media posts.
- After the conclusion of the campaign period, we will aggregate the total number of votes received and allocate a donation of £26,000 to the respective Corporate Charity Partners, proportionate to the percentage of the total votes each partner received. For example, if Project RECCE receives 50% of the total votes, the King’s Trust receives 30%, and Groundwork receives 20%, the donations will be allocated as follows: Project RECCE will receive £13,000, the King’s Trust will receive £7,800, and Groundwork will receive £5,200.
- Comments, likes, reactions and shares will not be included in the final number of votes. We will only include ‘votes’ received directly through the Microsoft Forms link provided.
- Users of all ages in all geographies can participate. Where users are under the age of 16 years old, they must obtain parental consent before participating.
- The campaign shall commence at 12:00pm (GMT) on 1 December 2024 and end at 11:59pm (GMT) on 31 December 2024.
- Balfour Beatty will share details on the amount of donations raised by 6 January 2025.
- Any personal data provided by users to Balfour Beatty which may include, for example, user votes where users are identifiable will be processed under Balfour Beatty’s privacy notice.
- The campaign is made available on an ‘as is’ basis. Balfour Beatty does not warrant that campaign content will be uninterrupted or error-free and is not liable for any inaccessibility of the campaign content or any failure of any social media site channels associated with the campaign.
- These terms are governed by English Law and any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
